Granddaughter of well known Brockton artist Armardo Croce who restored many artworks and statuary in Brocktons

public buildings such as City Hall, the Court House, schools. During the depression he had to close his studio on Legoin Parkway.

He received a grant during the depression from Roosevelt who established the WPA.

Elaine Croce Happnie work is on exhibit at the Brockton Public Library Main Street in the Driscoll Art Gallery.

the exhibit “Goddess Series” feature the use of historic photo printing, painting , and poetry written by published poets

enspired by the art.

Elaine has exhibit work in Spain, Boston and Florida.  Her work is in major collections including the Boston Athenaeum

and Boston Public Library in Copley Square photo and print department.
She is the  recipient of numerous awards and a grant by the Spainish  Goverment to  photograph in Madrid Spain.  Her work has been published in books, magazines and newspapers.l  Her poetry has been published and videotaped.

On Saturday November 16 1 – 3 “Everyone has a voice ” in the Driscoll Gallery where you can view the work and read your poetry.

Or you can come in anytime the library is open to view the artwork.
