Blues and Brushes: Live Music and Opening Reception for Art From Heart
On Saturday, February 2nd, Brockton Arts presents The Undaunted Professor Harp who will be playing a live set at the opening reception for artwork from the students of Art From Heart.
For 8 weeks on Sundays from 3 to 6pm, Brockton Arts holds Art From Heart, an art class for adults taught by Mimi Desir and John Adams. Come see the results of the dedicated and talented students who have worked hard at developing their craft.
Although Professor Harp was born in Boston, once you hear his harmonica, you know he has the blues of Texas and the entirety of the Delta coursing through his veins. Harp is a stone cold veteran who has played with the likes of Muddy Waters and Solomon Burke. He has graced the stage at a few of our past events and we are always happy to have him back.
