The Easton Shovel Town Cultural District is excited to announce our Sixth Annual Artisans Faire & Holiday Tea, which will be held at Queset House, 51 Main Street, North Easton, on Saturday, December 9, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. FREE ADMISSION AND HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE!
Step back in time to this gracious mansion and wander through the rooms, enjoying live music from Mary Parker and the “Generations”, Stedfast School of Music & Arts Guitar Ensemble, as well as, a choir from Stedfast School of Music.
Local and regional artists will display their work for sale in paint, photography, pottery, wood, textiles, jewelry, acrylics, holiday decorations and body products, chocolate…and some special treats from Chef Rosa’s Pantry. The Easton Historical Society and Friends of the Ames Free Library will also have items for sale. Come meet award winning poets Faye George and Winston Bolton, who will be sharing their published works with us.
Local artisanal chef, Rosa Galeno, will be preparing our Traditional Tea which will feature teas, coffee, buttermilk scones, clotted cream, assorted jams, tea sandwiches, cheeses, petit fours and other dainties, as well as some surprises. The cost is $30 per guest, $20 for children 10 and under (payable at the door).
